About Marco Brocca

A graduate in Economics from the Catholic University of Milan, Marco is an active member of the Italian Institute of CPAs. Marco is one of the two Co-Founding Partners at HLB Brocca, Maletta & Partners, and chairs the firm’s Management Committee. His role includes shaping the firm’s strategy to meet the ever-changing needs of its clients and its people. He also has an ambassadorial role, being involved internally in Partner and team development and, externally, in establishing relationships with key clients and professionells. With over 25 years’ experience he provides consultancy services to large corporate, SME’s and start-ups. Marco is an expert of evaluations of companies and business units, including of extraordinary transactions (acquisitions, contributions, mergers, demergers) and capital increases; ordinary and extraordinary tax and corporate consulting; impairment testing, fairness opinion, including in the context of extraordinary transactions or between related parties. He holds and has held numerous corporate positions as both auditor, director and/or advisor. Among these being: Dortmunder Aktien Brauerei (DAB Italia S.r.l.); Compo S.r.l. (Gruppo Basf); ThyssenKrupp Electrical Steel Italia; ThyssenKrupp Group; Chanel Sa (France); DB Schenker (Germany); Atel AG (Switzerland); Royal Canin Spa; Navblue - Boing Group; KYMCO (Taiwan). Marco is qualified in 1987 and, after a period in Ernst & Young, became partner in 1991. Marco heads up the firm’s International Tax Department.
